Sandymount Stand - Beach Day-Trip from Dublin

Pop over to the East Coast of Ireland for either a lovely walk (on a colder day) or a fabulous swim (on a hotter day… or in my case, a heatwave) near Dublin.

Although Ireland isn’t the first country that may pop to mind when one thinks “beach day”, it does deliver on this aspect - although, for shorter periods of time than other countries.

I cannot deny that Sandymount Strand definitely has some beautiful flora.

I showed some of these photos to my friends back home, and they assumed I had been in the Caribbean!

The ride to Sandymount Strand from Dublin was beautiful. It isn’t as easy to get to the beach via public transmit, so I’d suggest either renting a car or hiring a car to reach it.

One Travel Tip™ I must share is this: If you are going to the beach, do yourself a favour and buy a 99. Thank me later.

This bathing suit was also bought a couple of minutes because driving to the beach. It was the cheapest thing from Dunes, but the blue surprisingly worked against the sea, haha!
