Sirmione's Aquaria Thermal Spa - Ultimate Relaxation and Views on Lake Garda
One of my favourite things about Italy is that it complies with the rules of 3’s.
1/3 natural beauty. 1/3 history. 1/3 food.
Sirmione, a mediaval commune in the northern region of Lombardy along Lake Garda, definitely exemplifies all three of these qualities. However, we are going to focus on the first two in this post.
While I was staying in Milan, my friends and I took a brief trip to Sirmione in order to get some much-needed rest & relaxation at the Aquaria Thermal Spa. One of the huge draws of the spas was its views overlooking Lake Garda, and the benefits of the thermal hot springs on which it was built.
I don’t have any photos inside of the spa or the thermal hot springs in order to comply with privacy policies, but I can guarantee you it is an incredibly blissful and euphoric experience. There are circuits, thermal hot springs, multiple pools, and a spa. There are also some “relaxation rooms” in which you can lie in silence to relax, and water is provided to keep you hydrated throughout your treatments. Let me say it, you will leave feeling refreshed
Here’s a barrage of photos post-treatment in which I felt relaxed and fabulous:
Sirmione itself as a town is quite beautiful, and the medical attractions are worth exploring before/ after your visit to the spa. There are a number of attractions such as the Scaligero Castle or Grotte di Catullo which are of interest to visit.
The views of Lake Garda are magnificent, and make visiting the town and the spa worthwhile in my opinion.
I truly enjoyed my experience at the Aquaria Thermal Spa in Sirmione. I felt relaxed, and had the opportunity to do some tourist-y exploring of the medieval sights at the same time in the commune. If you’re looking for a place that complies with those “rules of 3’s”, do consider giving this place a try!
