Top 5 Best ICE CREAM and GELATO in PARIS

My love of Paris must be evident at this point (after all, it was my home before my recent moved). I go back as often as I can, and now that it’s getting warm, I want to share the best cool treats around!

I’ve decided, to make my and your life easier, this list will be heavily picture based. Indulge your eyes (and hopefully your tongue soon)!

Check out my other Parisian food posts, such as the Best Cafés & Coffee Shops in Paris and the Best Macarons in Paris.

1. BERTHILLON

Location: 31 rue saint louis en l'ile, 46 Rue Saint-Louis en l'Île, 75004 Paris, France

My favourite ice cream spot in Paris - located in the picturesque Île de la Cité - is Berthillon. This creamery is an indulgence, and specializes in elaborate “coupes” (see below). You can get single servings… but you’ll be craving more!

2. Glace BACHIR

Location: 58 Rue Rambuteau, 75003 Paris, France

Nestled on a narrow street is a Lebanese-style ice cream shop, that prides itself on using organic ingredients, topped with copious amounts of Pistachios. Who doesn’t love some healthy fats? (If you’re allergic to tree nuts, perhaps skip this spot).

3. POZZETTO

Location: 39 Rue du Roi de Sicile, 75004 Paris, France

Gelato Caffè Pozzetto scoops and serves traditional artisanal Italian gelato, and imported Italian goods in the Marais district. It’s perfect for takeout on a hot day!

4. Une Glace à Paris

Location: 15 Rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris, France

This glacier uses fresh ingredients for some of the most refreshing scoops in the City of Lights. They also sell other goods, like traditional French sweets and small cakes.

If you prefer simple and straight-forward high quality ice cream, this is the one!

5. La Glacerie Paris

Location: 13 Rue du Temple, 75004 Paris, France

The creamiest of delights can be found at La Glacerie. Ice Cream making resembles a science at this minimalistic ouvrier’s shop in the 4th arrondissement.
