Fitglow Beauty Skincare Review (Cruelty-Free, Vegan, and Organic)
I am on an avid hunt for “clean” skincare products.
I was excited to discover Fitglow Beauty as it’s products are touted as a cruelty-free, gluten free, and vegan. I have tried out a number of this brand’s products, and have detailed my experience with it below. Keep reading to discover if it’s worth the investment!

Vita Active Cleanser
Fitglow Beauty Makeup Cleansing Oil is an effective makeup removing cleansing oil.
One of my favourite things about it is that it doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue (I’ve had this happen with other cleansing oils). It’s easy to apply, and feels quite light. It also doesn’t become more tacky when water is used to remove it.
The citrus-y scent is light, and not too cloying. 4-5 pumps takes off all of my everyday makeup and SPF. I should note that waterproof makeup does require a bit more product.
While I have used cleansing oils that have removed all my makeup with less product, this one applies effortlessly and has a very lovely scent. I would classify this as among my top makeup removing cleansing oils, as it does do it’s job very well.
In essence, this is a great product for those looking to reduce overall waste from their beauty routine. (For more ideas on how to reduce waste from your skincare, check out my post about it). If the things I mentioned above are things you search for in a product (appealing scent, easy to apply, effective), this may be a good fit for you.
Star Ingredients: Cloudberry Seed Oil (hydrating; reduces redness), Watermelon Seed Oil (dissolves oil build-up), Camellia Oil (anti-inflammatory), Cherry Blossom (antioxidants; brightening)

Eye C Firm
Fitglow Beauty Eye C Firm is a pint-sized but potent under-eye cream!
One pump is more than enough for both eyes. This eye cream has a pillowy texture, which is very pleasing to apply. It also helps to encourage tapping, rather than rubbing, which is a better method of application for eye creams.
If you have puffy eyes, I recommend putting the product in the fridge. Using it cold is refreshing, and helps to lessen overall puffiness.
Eye C Firm has a minimal floral scent, and pairs well under makeup. I do recommend giving it at least 5 minutes to “soak in” before applying anything overtop of it, though.
It’s jam-packed with potent ingredients that deliver a slew of benefits to the under-eye area. Some of these include caffeine and Vitamin C, which can help target dark circles and puffiness over time. I find it leaves my under-eye area feeling very hydrated.
Overall, this is a great eye-cream for everyday use. One pump goes a long way, and it does pair well underneath eye makeup (a huge plus for me)!
Star Ingredients: Vitamin C Liposome (brightening), Amber (firming), Caffeine (targets dark circles and puffiness)

Age Clear Detox Cleanser
When I first tried this cleanser, I really disliked it. I used it twice a day, and it made my skin feel very tight, to the point that it sounded squeaky when I rubbed it. However, after a week of discontinuing usage, I gave it another try.
I am so pleased I did, as the cleanser did improve my complexion. Since I have sensitive skin, I found that using it once a day was a workable solution. It does tingle a bit, but it’s not unpleasant. The bottle lasts a long time, as only one pump of the product is required for the entire face.
In regards to smell and texture, the Detox Cleanser has a fresh scent, akin to peppermint. It also spreads evenly on the face, with no dreaded “stickiness”. It even lathers nicely, despite a lack of sulphates (yay!).
Willow bark, one of the star ingredients in this cleanser, works similarly to salicylic acid for the skin. Personally, I did find an overall reduction in the severity of my breakouts after using this product.
In general, despite being initially unsure, I have come to love this cleanser. It’s an effective and powerful for blemish prone skin. It certainly delivered results to my skin!
I want to note that I have repurchased this cleanser twice since originally trying it out. It worked great for me!
Star Ingredients: Activated Bamboo Charcoal (detoxes; cleanses), Witch Hazel (toner), Wildcrafted Willow Bark (antimicrobial), Aloe Vera Juice (antioxidants; soothes)

Age Clear Serum Pads
In conjunction with the Fitglow Beauty Detox Cleaner, I’ve been using the Fitglow Beauty Age Clear Serum Pads.
These pads come pre-soaked in blemish-fighting ingredients, such as willow bark, MSM, and - my personal favourite - colloidal silver. Although some skincare experts contain contrasting opinions in regards to colloidal silver, it’s an ingredient that my Medical Aesthetician suggest I look for in anti-acne products. I personally have found that it’s a powerful ingredient in the fight against blemishes, especially in these serum pads.
The pads are easy to use, and their textured surface supposedly exfoliates the skin, as well. I quite like the scent, which I would describe as fresh and floral.
The Serum Pads are very potent, and I only use them once a day. I always make sure to wring them out after my initial application, in order to get the most out of them.
My only issue with these pads is that I am unsure of their sustainability. I am trying to gradually become 100% waste-free with my skincare routine, so I dislike having to throw these out every time I use them.
I have been generally impressed with Fitglow Beauty’s natural and clean approach to beauty, so I wonder if there would be a way to make these pads more eco-friendly.
Despite that, I do think these serum pads are effective, and have helped in the reduction of my acne.

Age Clear Lotion
The final product from the AGE CLEAR LINE I tested was the Fitglow Beauty Age Clear Lotion.
The cream doesn’t sting, and it also contains anti-inflammatory and acne-fighting ingredients, which seemed to work well in conjunction with the cleanser and serum pads.
This moisturizer spread beautifully on my skin, and dried down matte. It was very easy to layer SPF and makeup on top of it, which is a huge plus!
It has a lovely floral / vanilla scent, that isn’t too overpowering. Only one pump was needed to use on my entire face.
Something that is nice about this lotion is that it isn’t oily at all, which should make it pleasant to use on skin with excessive oiliness. I personally have combo skin, and I found it adds a nice degree of moisture, even to the more dry areas of my face.
I found this product helpful, and it complemented the other items in the line beautifully.
