Easy Fudge Brownie Recipe - (Gluten Free)
This is my foolproof brownie recipe, that my friends always consider a delight to eat!
Rather than cake-y and light, these brownies are fudge-y and full of ooey-gooey goodness. They’re soft, and last a good week before beginning to harden (I’d be impressed if you could hold yourself off from finishing them for that long).
This recipe is highly customizable, so be creative and add in whatever your taste-buds crave. Usually, I fill them up with dark chocolate chips, but for this particular batch, I used white chocolate.
Enjoy!

Cooking time: 31 minutes
Total Time: 46 minutes
Yield: 9 x 9 pan of brownies
Cooking Utensils
Two bowls
Spatula
Whisk - OR - Handheld / Upright Mixer
Measuring cups / spoons
Ingredients
3/4 cup (185g) salted butter
1 1/4 cup (285g) granulated sugar
1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup (or honey)
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
1/2 cup (68g) flour
If using gluten-free flour without xanthan gum, add 1 tsp xanthan gum
1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
(Optional) 1 cup (100g) chocolate chips - OR - 1 cup (150g) nuts
Instructions
In a bowl, add 3/4 cup (185g) salted butter, 1 1/4 cup (285g) granulated sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla extract
With a whisk or a handheld mixer, mix all of the ingredients together until well blended
Add 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup (or honey)
Add 3 eggs, and mix again
In the same bowl, add 1/2 cup (68g) flour, 1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder, and 1/2 tsp salt
Mix all of the dry ingredients together
Add in optional toppings (I used 1 cup (170g) cut-up white chocolate bar bits)
Gently stir all of the ingredients together until just blended
Line a 9 x 9 square baking pan with either parchment paper - OR - cooking spray
Pour mixture into square baking pan, and smooth out with spatula
To limit stickiness, lightly dampen your spatula with some water before smoothing down the mixture
Bake the brownies in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 31 minutes
Allow the brownies to cool for a minimum of 20 minutes before munching
Enjoy!
