Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil Review... Does it Actually Work?
Whenever I mention “Pai Skincare” to other beauty aficionados, everyone seems to automatically mention the Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil.
Pai is a good company to keep on your radar in general as it’s vegan, cruelty-free (no testing on animals), and Certified Organic by the Soil Association. They also keep their products free from parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrances, sulfates, formaldehyde, propylene glycol, and phenoxyethanol. That’s the type of clean, pure, and safe beauty I can really get behind. This particular product is also nut-free. Score! 🙌
However, as good as the company ethos seems, does this particular product really deserve the cult-status it has received? I’ve detailed my true thoughts about this popular product below in this non-sponsored, honest review

To begin, I’d like to mention that the first Pai product that I was introduced to was the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil. The saleslady at my local beauty counter raved to me about it’s effects, and swore that it was her ride-or-die skincare item.
After having used it myself, I can see why she was so enamoured.
The oil isn’t heavily scented, and whatever scent it does have is quite pleasant. It’s easy to apply, and a small amount of product goes a very long way. You can either use it on its own as a moisturizer, or add a couple drops to your moisturizer to boost its effects. It’s not sticky, and although it does feel “oily” when applied (very common with beauty oils), it’s not uncomfortable. I do find makeup can be a bit tricky to apply after use, so I recommend using it at nighttime.
I have eczema-prone skin, but this product has never irritated it. It’s touted as safe and non-irritating for sensitive skin, and for those who suffer from redness and rosacea. High in carotenoids and Omega 3, 6, 7, and 9, this Andean oil is a great addition to any skincare routine.
Rosehip seed oil, harvested from the seeds of rose bushes (rose canina), is known to help hydrate dry skin, reduce fine lines or scars, aid in anti-aging, correct dark spots, protect against environmental damage, and settle down acne prone skin. This cold-pressed formula is concentrated, and you only need a few drops to cover your entire face.
Unlike other Rosehip oils on the market, Pai’s version is a highly concentrated blend of the Rosehip fruit and seed oil. There is also Rosemary Extract and Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E) to boost the key ingredients benefits. Because it does mix together multiple parts of the Rosehip plant (the fruit and the seed), I find that I get more pronounced effects than with other Rosehip oils that I’ve used.
Overall, Pai’s Rosehip oil is one of my favourites, as I found there was a noticeable difference in my skin after a couple of weeks of usage. The product has increased in price (the first bottle I bought was $40.00, but now it’s $50.00), but I still find it quite affordable from a beauty oil standpoint (I’ve clearly spent too much on skincare…). If you’re worried about the investment, Pai does sell small samples of their products, and they also have a free return policy on their website.
Final Thoughts
When I first was introduced to Pai’s Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, I was incredibly hesitant as I had never tried a beauty oil before. As someone with somewhat oily skin, it seemed really counterintuitive to add more oil, especially when we’re taught that oil causes breakouts! The saleslady eventually convinced me when she said that I could always return the product. Thus, I took the plunge, and… well. I’ve been addicted to beauty oils ever since. As for Pai’s version, it’s staple on my skincare counter!
This oil is cost-effective (despite increasing it’s $10.00 increase), and delivers noticeable results. Used in conjunction with an already established beauty routine or on its own, its an excellent product to add to your roster. I highly recommend it, and it’s super rose-Hip to do so (#sorrynotsorry).
