This uptown Thai eatery is essentially made for takeout. There are only a few chairs at a counter that is usually reserved for those waiting for their meal.
With that being said, ordering takeout for delivery or pickup here is a breeze. You just call up or place your order online, and you will quickly be served hot, spicy, and fresh Thai cuisine.
The flavours are solid, and because it revolves around takeout, you generally receive fresh food that has been recently cooked. This is a great spot for those nights you don’t wanna cook!

Popular Chef Nut is at the helm of this Toronto restaurant with a midtown and downtown location. Fresh and authentic Thai food is served alongside refreshing drinks.
The interior is eclectic and bright, conjuring up images of a colourful Thai street. All diners in your party will love it, and will leave feeling satisfied.
Do note - book reservations early! This place regularly has over an hour wait for walk-ins on weekends and evenings.

Mr Thai, a few hops away from St Clair, is the perfect place to grab a bang-for-your-buck takeout Thai meal.
There is a separate line-up for those looking to order takeout, pickup, or delivery. There are also takeout-specific deals, lunch specials, and combos that make ordering out more enticing.
As for the food, there are allergens clearly listed. I also appreciate that you can substitute your rice for brown rice, and I always enjoy the square tofu. So spongy!

With multiple locations across the city, EAT BKK is a solid takeout choice for Thai food.
Despite being priced lower-than-average for a Thai restaurant, the portions are quite large, so you can rest assured you will be full by the end of your meal. The food can be a bit salty, and I would say the flavours are good (but not great). However, it is still delicious, and will definitely hit the spot without breaking the bank!
This is a nice choice for casual, and cheap(er) Thai takeout!
